Didn't ask for the details, but be careful guys, if you have to be at work or gone I don't know a solution.

I don't know if there's any way around this possibility with the covid guidelines.

This is good info Keith and if I may make a suggestion, if anyone that has one inbound has the tracking # you should be able to contact the shipping company and leave further delivery instructions. I know this can be done for USPS and FedEx but not sure about DHL though...

The Clock Tower!  Beautiful city with a very old history - the ancient city of Smyrna, rebuilt by Marcus Aurelius after a devastating earthquake.  Greek and Roman ruins abound (birthplace of Homer); visited several times - Kemeralti Bazaar is worth the trip by itself!

Suggestion for those that keep the sailor on display like me.  Get the Maggards mr5 15mm stand to keep on the vanity to avoid lugging the sailor’s original anchor back and forth. 10$ And a perfect fit.

I assume that this means that the mr5 is too narrow for the regular 2021. I’m still looking for a base.

The exact opening of the stand is 15.35mm. the mc handle is 15.28mm. That is a good point that the mc is slightly narrower so the 2021 may not fit.

I was using a wra2 stand for mine.

I found a RazoRock stand with internal steps to allow for different sizes of handles.  I just received my 2020 Sailor from Loot (thank you sir!) and have ordered one each of the round and flat top variable stands to try out.  Inexpensive but look pretty nice.  No idea how long they will take to arrive.

I am usually wary of stands since standing something up means it can be knocked over.

Living on the edge
Ive been gravitating to the RS on lower nos lately and loving it.

Yesterday I got a fabulous shave on the 2 setting with the same number of passes.
There was no buffing and my skin was elated.

So far I have got perfect shaves on 2,3,4,5,6 and 7.

Amazing piece of kit.

Do you also have the 2020?  If so how do you rank the shave vs. the 2021?  I will have an opportunity (thanks to LOOT who graciously gave up one of his) to shave off a 3 day beard with the new addition to my shaving tools, a 2020, tomorrow.  I am wary of higher settings due to feedback from others and will try a few swipes on 1, 2, and 3, but may wait on 4 and up until I get the hang of it.
[Image: RvGgEg2.jpg]OP please excuse my going off the thread topic a bit to discuss the 2020.  From what I have read so far there is not a huge difference in shave between the 2 year models.
ps.  I read several accounts of the index not lining up with the settings indicators but lining it up with the cap off and then tightening down with a blade installed resulted in a perfect alignment.

I may use some Testor's black enamel paint and a one hair detail brush to make the indicator settings more visible, very hard to see currently.

As an aside, my 2021 MC has the dot and the roman numerals in black on the gold dial. I hadn’t realised the 2020 model did not. So that’s another small improvement.
