Just a question...I thought the MC shipped with a stand....and yet I don't see a
hole at the base of the handle.
Is the stand included or not?

Well Mr. Tester, I wasn't really expecting anything other than a Sailor with a kewl Serial 01 button on the bottom. Being personally made by Murat is just an interesting piece of the pedigree. It is the same price as a standard 2021. It comes with a stand. Not sure he charged much money to do the assembly himself? Does it add value? I dunno, that's personal.
I'm not real sure how to answer you. It's a 2021 Sailor bro. You can't look at it and tell who assembled it nor did I really expect it to. I knew the handle was longer. The diameter reduction was a nice surprise. But at the end of the day, it's a '21 Sailor. I have not held the production '21 so I can't make comparisons. There is enough difference with my prototype to keep both. Even if they shave the same. Just me.
Ah, ok, don't get me wrong Im not treading on him...just curious.
It looks good in pics, and Im sure it shaves well too.
Trying to set some sort of expectation, I suppose.
I was under the impression that it was called Master Collection because,
you know, made from start to finish by a Master Craftsman....that sounded
appealing.
I know you can't tell who assembled it.....I guess I was curious as to whether there
are there any signs that the finish is better or more refined than the stock non-MC 2021 Sailor.

No sir, I didn't take it as treading. I was trying to gently make a point. We really are all pawns to DE marketing. As you've recently noticed, words get stretched, and numbers get inflated to suit the artisan's/retailers need to sell gear. It is a beast that must be fed, words and numbers be damned. That is the cynic in me.
I've studied the 2 razors closely. If there is a difference in the finish, it is lost to my eye. The grinds on the top cap of the MC are laser straight and parallel to the bar, unlike the prototype. The grinds are straight but not parallel to the bar. It can be seen in the close up of the caps.
Again tho, I don't have a production 21. Maybe someone that does can comment on my photos?
