Does Murat accept custom orders?

Been browsing some pics and noticed a couple that looked more distinct.

First picture is a gold 2019 Elite, was this a limited edition release?

Second one I think is a custom modification, modified by the owner I believe.  I couldn't get more info except that this was found on a German razor forum, and the picture is an icon pic beside his username on the forum.  

Looks like the head of the Sailor was gold plated, and the handle was switched out (not what I would do personally, but to each his own) for a different design.  Notice the wooden case also contains the inner parts of the handle.

He is a very small operation. He is open to custom requests if its convenient enough within his current production. We have all been pestering him for titanium which would not work our in his current schedule, but I saw someone here had a gold ring put on their 21 (first run). He also inscribed 2021 on my 2020 sailor at request.

Nothing to lose to ask, he's a real approachable guy.

Right on. I'll write to him when I get the chance. He is working on a new Elite the last time I communicated with him.

What's the pricetag on these MC's?

Ive done some comparisons...fo me sending via bank (telegraphic transfer) costs
exactly half of what WU is asking.

Hello all. I feel a bit like I'm jumping into the middle of a conversation that I wasn't a part of, but I've been trying to find more information about this razor and came across this thread. Then I saw the information regarding the September distribution model (limited edition) and I have been communicating via text and Email with Murat this morning (evening his time). Ultimately, I ended up sending money via Western Union, so I'm on the list for the September shipment.

FWIW my WU fee was $56.

Welcome! is this your first experience with the sailor, or adjustables in general? My fee was only 16$ NY to Turkey. I would've paid 56 happily considering sailor is my favorite razor.

Is this artisan really charging a premium for a “master series” razor that only he touches? What does this imply about the quality if his other razors. I have heard two reports if quality control issues in the past.

Thank you.  This will be my first experience with the sailor, and the adjustable razor, in general.  Taking the deep plunge right away.  My current razors of choice in my rotation are the WR1 and WR2.  Rather than opt for another Wolfman, I thought this time around I'd take my RAD urge along a different path.
