As a part of the industry and a generally curious person, I'm always trying to keep up with what's going on and who's coming & going. The purpose of this thread is NOT to editorialize about why (or critique) someone went out of business. Only to name the companies that we gained or lost in 2021. I'll mention those that I know of, please add to the list.

Victory Shaving is shutting it doors this year, according to the owner's post in another neighborhood.

You proved my hypothesis. I don't believe I've ever heard of Victory Shaving. There's so many out there.

I believe MacDuff’s Soap Company has been around for a while (they make much more than just shaving products), but started gaining recognition in 2020, especially in the wet shaving community.

According to their website, 345 Soap Co. started in 2019, but they have also begun to receive recognition last year and this year. That may well be the case with Angora Soaps, too. Løthur had been developing a soap for a long time, and recently released their first production formula.

Oh, and OSP was on hiatus, but has recently made a comeback. Those are the ones I can think of right now, but there may be more … it’s a wet shaving jungle out there.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I'm not sure this is information that I needed..... Nevertheless it's good news.

Sadly, I tried to order from Cold River Soapworks and I haven’t been able to connect to their server.  I fear they may have closed shop.  Anyone have any Brazen Moment or Schapenmelk? I’d like to purchase those from you regardless or how much is left in them
