The handle is definitely more beautiful in person. I was also pleasantly surprised at the weight of it. It is heavier than I thought and I like that. Smile

That's kinda funny. Most people comment it is lighter than they expected. I guess it all depends on what your expectations where.

Love the way it turned out. Really looking forward to getting one in person.

Nathan, do you have any advice for maintenance or care for the handle? I don't really have anything anodized aluminum and I want to make sure I 'handle' it right so it looks this nice for a long, long time.

Chalice.
Such a cool name too.

Got notification. Cool. I'm looking forward to trying the Silver tip. I'm sure it's as good as the Envy white which I enjoy very much.
Thanks Nathan.

I think the handle is super well balanced. Got 2 small spots where the anodizing didn't adhere but no biggie.

Envy white is a medium high backbone with decent scrub when pressed and silky smooth tips when used gently.

Density is medium, not chubby/paladen density, but a step above EJ and tgn finest two band.

My DFS brush with Envy White arrived today and it is beautiful. I am shocked at how white the tips are, perhaps they are bleached but regardless, they are awesome looking. I did a test lather just to see how it bloomed. This is without a doubt the most backbone I have ever had, yet it still has some splay and the tips are silky smooth as GloryUprising mentioned above. Also, this is the heaviest brush I have owned, which is fine with my because I like a little heft. I'm not sure how anyone could find it light as Nathan mentioned above, but I suppose they make heavier handles. Great work Nathan! This brush is a beauty and a keeper.

I'm very sorry about that. There were about 9 handles that had small blemishes. I sorted them out, but then some how a couple of them made it back into my workspace. rest assured it is anodized and protected, just a bit of the colorant did not take. PM me if this is a problem.

Mine just came in. Blemishes along the bottom lip as well as the valley. I can't feel these "scratches" with my nail, but they're definitely blemishes. I don't see how they could have been done during transport since one is in the valley that nothing could get to. Not happy with this.

For those that have it, what's the diameter and height of the whole brush? (cm or ")
I am looking for a travel tube for it.
Or will what it came shipped in ok to travel with?

kwsher is right, it comes with a nice tube. I can measure mine when I get home if you're still interested in getting a different one. I have the envy white knot, not sure if the other knots would be a different height though.
Yeah I got the Envy White too.
If you wouldn't mind posting some measurements that'd be awesome.
Thanks!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I just measured the brush and it is 4.25" tall with the handle being 2.25" and the knot 2". The handle is 1.5" wide. Hope this helps!
