Last Night's SOTE:

Barrister's Reserve Lavender
24mm Amack Sunrise on WD Handle
'52 Super Speed
Personna Lab Blue (3)
Chatillon Lux Champes de Lavande

As soon as I lathered this soap, it immediately smelled familiar, but I don't know from where. It's like an olfactory memory that I can't place. I know it's based on an long gone cologne that I can't seem to find the information on at the moment. That being said, it smells awesome! Pairing it with CL CdL was a no brainer. It's a great complement to the soap.

I've been getting a lot of nicks and irritation lately. I thought going with a mild razor and blade would help but no dice. I don't know if it's because the weather is changing and it's affecting my skin or what.

Ylang-ylang+yuzu = amazing
This was my first use of Eufros, and it certainly lives up to the hype. Very thick and slick lather with an exceptionally smooth post shave feel. The scent is like an older, woody citrus, not as bright as other ylang-ylang I've smelled. My wife thought it smelled old, but I still wanted to try and I'm glad I did. This pairs very nicely with Chatillon Lux YRP - the yuzu note especially helps bring out the citrus accord. Outstanding shave in every way.
Prep: Van Yulay PSO
Soap: Eufros Ylang-ylang
Brush: Wild West Go Green
Razor: Rockwell 6sR6
Blade: voskhod ??
AS: Chatillon Lux Yuzu Rose Patchouli
