I've been thinking about a 30s aristocrat but heard they were harsher than the 48-50. Is that your experience?

A little bit more aggressive but not night and day like I was warned when I first got the razor, but I do tend to lean towards aggressive razors but not harsh like the '11 R41 and the Fatip OC.

Yeah I've never been able to dial that one in all the way. I have to use it with the handle almost parallel with my face. I think you could set a quarter on top of the head and it would stay there. That's about the smoothest it has been for me. Not uncomfortable, but not really comfortable either.

Tomorrow's planned shave. This will be my first experience with an Alumigoose (Weber Bulldog handle). Using a Feather Pro blade.

fgeib07! Great setup and that brush is just beautiful. Did you have it custom made?

It's actually one of the first release of 10 I believe from declaration brush works and C&R collaboration. It's a TI handle. You can sign up for notifications on the next release I believe only 10 are going to be made but the info is on L&L website

Thanks so much-just beautiful. I've signed up for the notification, thanks for the tip! Enjoy!

Nice shot of the MS! I ordered one about a week ago based on the positive comments of this forum. Can't wait to get it.

Thx . . . think you will enjoy the brush as many members here do - didn't know what to expect with the large size, however definitely like it after using for awhile.
