I have been getting a few more aftershaves (splashes mainly)here and there. At this point I’ve tried B&M, zingari Man, Stirling, Razor Emporium, and DG. Is there anybody else who things the Zingari offering is leagues beyond the rest? It’s alcohol-free, and leaves a light, albeit noticeable, feeling for a a couple hours after the shave. It’s less thick/greasy than any balm yet has more body than a simple splash. I’m a bit surprised I don’t see more mention of it on this forum.

I do like Zingari products. I prefer the balm a bit more for some reasons. Splash is not bad but there are few more sellers like A&E who already have a similar offering.

I like Heather's model of releasing scents in collaboration with perfumers ex Rogue for Mousse illumimee and some along with Shawn of Maher Olfactive aka chatillon lux.

To me, it's ETHOS Skin Food with added EOS and ABC balms. Do enjoy the B&M, Derby Chop, Floid, PAA, Pitralon and Proraso AS.

Never tried ethos - although it does seem to get high marks on this forum. There’s something intimidating however about trying a whole new set of soaps/scents…

Start off with ETHOS' Clean Skin Food Splash, aka aftershave. It's unscented and it's one of my go to aftershaves when I don't have something else close in scent to my soap. Frank's Tonka Bean Skin Food Splash is another go to because its scent goes with most everything, except for those exceptions that always exist.

I have a few Zingari AS and I found them to leave my skin a bit sticky. I gave up after a few shaves, but I think I know how to keep that from happening now.

Well, Ethos for sure but also MacDuff’s, Wholly Kaw and, of course, Chatillon Lux. Only my opinion but having tried Zingari Man and the other splashes mentioned in the OP, these are better.

I'll add another vote for Ethos. I only own the Mousse Illuminee set from Zingari. The Zingari splash performs reasonably well but it is mainly the scent that keeps me using it. I will sometimes use House of Mammoth Alive as an alternative, which I find is a nice complement to the Moussee Illuminee scent. And in general I will also suggest House of Mammoth. Their splash is based on Chicago Grooming's Oleo v3. It offers a different profile than Ethos but I enjoy both.

Thanks everybody for the recommendation! I’ve seen so much about ETHOS I’ll probably give the skin food splash a whirl.

Does ETHOS’ Unscented AS mask the (ephemeral) scent of a soap at all?

Can anybody recommend an ETHOS scent which would appeal to somebody who likes spicier/mossier offerings? I am a huge fan of lavanille and beaudelaire from B&M. I like Zingaris The Master.

No

Try Vetyvert or Lost Souls

For those of you who have used Ethos skin food splash, have you also tried the Ethos skin food lotion? Generally, I would prefer not to have the alcohol in the splash, but want something that absorbs without a greasy feeling in the heat of summer.Just wondering how they compare
