I would say, but Tod hasn't contacted me yet....

When he does ask about the ability to use the despined GEM blade if you feel comfortable doing so. I have a feeling that's what their improvements were centered around.

I just spoke to Tod. They weren't willing to send a free razor plus refund my money, so I just took the refund. 2 chances is enough for me..

I did ask about the GEM - they haven't made any changes to the head to accommodate the GEM blade properly..

Well, once you get your refund at least it will all be over. There are and will be other choices out there.

I hope you didn't get stuck with any blades.

Weird. I wouldn't have expected a free razor. Shipping each way and hopefully an apology, but at this point the blush is of the rose.

I was actually thinking they made a change to not be able to use a despined GEM. Their business model is to monopolize the Feathers. I wonder if any changes they made make it impossible to use a despined GEM somehow.

Andrew, was there any mention of those aforementioned patents during your call today? I received an e-mail from OneBlade today about the opportunity to order one of 100 “early  access” razors, but nowhere in that message was there mention of any changes to the original design…

Sorry to hear that the company was not willing to take any extra steps to ensure a happy customer. That’s disappointing.
