I ordered something on Cyber Monday. It still hasn't delivered yet.

I'm not really upset or bent out of shape. Just irritated it was listed like it was in stock but was really a made to order thing.

If it's as nice as the pictures look then I'll be happy. USPS is taking it on a tour of the tristate area since Sunday.

I have been too busy with work and family to do much shopping this year. By the time I get settled in the evening the past few weeks I'm just happy to get a little rest and read a bit.

One blade is still hit or miss for me. I have both the Genesis and the Core versions and find I actually get better and more comfortable shaves from the Core but it takes more effort through touch ups. I will say I have gotten a couple of my best shaves ever from the Genesis though. I think I just need to spend more time with the razor.

That’s pretty much where I’m at. I’ve had some pretty good shaves with it but I’m not quite convinced, it’s a pretty hardcore dilemma. Going to give it until the end of the week to decide.

Mods, vendor bashing is more a thing here?

Bashing? It was a simple joke.

Also, your shipping is relatively slow. I know you have your reasons, but it's true. People are going to point that out.

Well, I do think what was said above was more a joke than anything.

A forum such as this provides a place for hobbyists to share feedback not only on products, but also on service. That being said, I would hope that customer and merchant discuss possible issues amongst themselves before resorting to public debate. Sometimes a merchant is not willing to offer any explanations concerning their bad service, in which case I see it as a favor to other forum members to warn of such behavior.

However, I appreciated your explanation in another thread, and want to post the link here just as reference:

After a day off, coming back to find over 2,000 new orders … I have no experience of what that might feel like from a vendor’s point of view.

I myself have been frustrated a few times lately, when a couple of artisans have taken a long time to fill an order. It’s a little ridiculous, because those products have not been anything that I’ve been in immediate need of. I think the problem is more that when an order is unfulfilled, it can loom in the back of one’s mind as something that is incomplete or unfinished, thus causing that slightest bit of tension or stress.

Let’s try to see things from each others’ perspective a little better, improve things where we can, and keep the conversation polite, is my suggestion.

This forum has great mods. They tend to give the members time to self-regulate before intervening, which is part of the appeal of being here. Great response above from Matsilainen

I'm actually kind of apprehensive about purchasing because of this bad run right now. I really wanted to grab 2-3 of the new soaps from The Grooming Dept when they come out on the 14th but am having 2nd thoughts.

Yeah, I think the scent does morph somewhat. Its fairly complex and layered and some of the best aspects sort of come in almost in your subconscious triggering memories of the forests that I have been in. Forrests as you know generally never smell of just one thing like a spruce tree. There are different kinds of trees and then theres the smell of the decaying floor, moist dampness or arid dry breezes. You know, complex. I think Boreal is complex as well. Lather it up, what have you got to lose?

Hahaha.

It was an Etsy shop. Brush handle more specifically.

Nothing I can't live without.

The Etsy app itself is kind of intense about nagging me to review things.

Wish I had jumped on some of these deals. I wanted a Blackbird.
