Just got in from Hong Kong is a beautiful high polished Yintal five sided head which has a .86 blade gap. I mounted it on a Timeless Crown Ti handle. Feels great in hand and weighs 2.7 ounces. I did a dry run on one side of my face and it feels mild however, I used a Muhle SS R41 razor this morning with a Feather so tomorrow morning is the big test. This is a stunning head equal to almost any razor.

You should be able to see 3 sides from the picture. The other two are on the other side of the head.

Oh I meant when I read the thread title. I was picturing some contraption with five differently blades around the circumference to be rotated through, thinking to myself “surely nobody would want this would they??”

That's how Willy Wonka stays so clean shaven. [Image: giphy.gif?cid=349c9dd7rfaax381xber48182i...y.gif&ct=g]

slantman do you feel like the different facets on the top plate have any function/benefit to them? Or is it more just a looks thing to do something different?
I could see the facet closest to the blade helping to find the angle, but then I'm not sure how the ones across the top would have function.

I would be interested in your assessment of the double faceted head. A similar design cap will be coming out next month with the new YPM razor done for WSC

I just recently ordered the more familiar three facet head, which I am more familiar with those. I know that for me, the facet define a good shave angle, but in this case, a second angle is interesting.
