Yates Precision Manufacturing Razor

Excellent 3, day review Mark.. So nothing has changed since your first shave with the razor as you were really excited about the first shave results.  Sounds like an excellent razor for a daily shaver like yourself.  How would you compare it smoothness wise to your Ti Timeless or Paradigm Titanium 2 ? I’m curious.

Thank You, I will need to do some side by side comparisons but from memory smoothness is as good as both those razors and efficiency is better than Paradigm Ti 2 not sure without side by side as memory is a bad way to compare for me.

Wow that’s saying something.. like to see some side by sides with the smoothie Kings to compare!

I just received an email from Jake that he is going to offer a new top cap with 10-32 threading and I also saw that WCS is going to carry his razor.

I ordered one of this razors last night. Given the choice, I would have selected the stonewashed finish anyway so I was glad to see that finish option. He said a shorter handle is int he works and different plates will also be made in the near future.

No but he said he was working on it now. He is a one man show like Wolfman and Charcoal Goods.

I saw this in Florida- Jared from west coast brought one to the south Florida wet shavers end of the year party. Very nice razor I think he will be successful.

Wonderful 3 pass shave this morning with the Yates razor, Gillette Black 7 O’Clock blade. This razor is very smooth even ATG on my neck. Threw on some English Leather and I’m ready for whatever the wife has in mind. Hope everyone has a great Holiday season. 

That is a lovely Polo 14.  

Looks like there is a fairly healthy blade gap there, but it's a little hard to see.
