Dave in KY  I did notice alot of blade skipping or chatter on the ATG. The chatter/ skipping surprised me a bit because I was assuming the blade twist took care of that.

I wasn't going to say anything until I heard from others experience with this thing, but I'm with Dave in KY. This is quite possibly the worst razor I've ever had the displeasure of using. Honestly I don't think I got through an entire shave with it before tossing it in the trash. The sloppy tolerances combined with the top cap overhang make it next to impossible to get the blade aligned properly. The huge blade gap and exposure (i.e. unsupported blade edge) result in chatter city. The fact that it is a slant did nothing hold the blade with rigidity. I could probably manage a similar shave by holding a DE blade with my fingers. I know this sounds like a scathing negative review, but it was just my experience. Maybe I got a dud I don't know. That's not out of the realm of possibility considering cheap Chinese manufacturing.

It’s a very efficient razor razor with the 1st WTG pass, but it comes off as overly aggressive after that. I disliked this razor when shaving ATG and even the XTG pass is aggressive.

Thanks guys, I was afraid I was going to be the only art critic that didn't appreciate the Masterpiece.......

I gave this one another spin last night with the perma-sharp gold pack blade.
I'll have to say I don't believe it was the smoothest of shaves but it was up they're inefficiency.
I'm starting to think that as additional wet shavers we can get used to about any razor if we use it enough.
For the $10 price I'll probably keep it around and when I feel froggy get it out .

I bought it 2 months ago and never tried it. I think I will give it a try tonight.

I am sorry, I got distracted and used a R41 instead and à Rocnel today. I will wait 48 hours to have some growth and will use the Yaqi plate on Thursday.
