I can provide the Karve G plate and will acquire the more aggressive plate from Yates as well.

Unless you get the prototype Stirling razor, that one might not be ready for a while. Problems with the machine shop.

Edit: Just remembered that we’re trying to limit this to readily available razors. Ignore my suggestion.

Second edit: Someone (including me) may have already mentioned this, but the Game Changer Jaws is another fine candidate for “Efficient.”

Third edit: I would also add the ATT H2 to the “Efficient” category.

Hi Scott

No the Paradigm would still qualify as it may be hard to find but there were enough of them made to them available. I can't believe I forgot to add it in. I have one so I won't have to ask a member to contribute one.
I don't have the Gamechanger and the Jaws baseplate would certainly qualify. I can put it on the list in Blue to see if someone has one they want to enter into the Shave Off.

Thanks for the input. It's always welcomed as you know my friend.

Frank

I’m happy to loan you my Jaws. (I know it won’t end up for a few months in Illinois this time. Wink )
Thanks Scott I can definitely include it in the Shave Off and put your name on the list as a contributor. This is good the list is filling up. I'll pm you with my address my friend and thanks again!

Thank you for the Rocnel Elite it will be a great addition to the Shave Off and honestly I can't wait to try it as I've never shaved with one.

I'll need it once we get past the " Efficient Category " So no rush to get it to me now. Let's stay in touch so about a week before I begin the " Very Efficient Razor " Category you can ship it out as I'd like to have all the razors I'm going to use in each category at arms reach plus I'll be randomly pulling the names of the razors out of a box so I'm not chossing which razors to match up to each other.

Thank you my friend for the generous offer!

Frank

Great I could use both as I'm not sure if the one person I know has the more aggressive plate from Yates. I have no one with the Karve yet but I have a feeling someone will offer one for this Shave Off.

Thank you and I'll PM you with my address.

Crazy idea - have you ever tried or would you consider the John Henry 1706 Open Comb Adjustable ? It's a 3D printed plastic razor but I have no idea on the gap or exposure yet it is readily available as you go on the site and have it made so they are not limited editions nor expensive (like $25-30 with delivery and the home hardware parts).

I know. I'll leave it on the list and maybe by the time we get to those categories he will release it. Sad what happened to Rod and Mandy. Good people.

Thanks for the heads up and I was going to address the razor on the list.

I don't know I'm trying to keep the list to not include razors that most are not familiar with but more with razors that most can relate to and also you know how I feel about plastic razors.!

Does anyone know when the WCS “Brawny” head is being released for sale at WCS? I think it’s definitely worth an add to one of the efficient categories as it will be readily available and extremely affordable.

I must be either living under a rock or to busy because this is the first I’ve heard about this razor. So what’s the scoop on it?
