Any pointers for an SE newbie?  I am strictly a DE guy with a very steep angle of attack.  SE angle is my concern, I am not at all interested in changing my natural hand.

Blade advice?

Thanks in advance.

Congrats!! Prolines for sure. Use the feather supers if you need some extra efficiency. They are a longer blade providing more exposure. I don’t mess with the guarded blades. Would tone it down too much for me

Thanks for the replies men. Proline it shall be with some Feather Thupas in the wings.

I personally really like the proGuards (on a vector). It’s amazing how different the SE blades are - nothing like the confusion of whether I should feel a difference but rarely do with DE blades.

I am about to test prolines myself as recently provided by Dave in KY - thanks again!

Enjoyed this shave with the WR4. James has brought an excellent SE to the market in my opinion.

Anyone else having issues loading prolines into the prototype? I tried several blades.

Handle looks very nice! Good to hear another opinion on the wr4 - I am on the waiting list and cant wait. After these few reviews about the .77 - I think I will Go with a 80/90 gap

This is an Alpha Shaving handle. Sorry, should have mentioned that above.

Prolines will not fit in the prototype. The production version fits all blades. James modified the posts for that reason.

Oh I'm sure James has made changes, I wanted to test a range of blades before ordering though. Kai Pinks needed a bit of encouragement to fit.

Feather Supers are awesome in the prototype but I had to work to get them in. The Feather Pro was really good too but can’t wait to try the Schick Prolines in the production version.
