I've read somewhere that the cap can be difficult to separate from the base plate. It's that a big deal to anyone?

Not really. It's still easier than a Vector to take apart.

Very easy for me. Think there is a groove on the side that helps with that but never had a problem.

Good to know that maybe a future WR3 with a slimmer head MAY be coming. I should ask Tara but maybe that's top secret stuff James doesn't want out yet, but I'll still ask. I think for the WR4 I'll do 1.25 OC and not try to go too large. The WR3 I was thinking of was 1.00 OC but the head is a bit larger than my recent purchase which is the Sabre Level 2. To me that seems efficient and smooth. Not sure what that gap and blade exposure equivalent would be to the WR3. If there was a Sabre Level 3 or 4, I'd probably choose that if it was an option.

Just received a Shield GEM but haven't tried it yet. The possibility of a newer WR3 might make me pause on that for now and just buy a second WR4 baseplate. Thanks for the responses everyone and potentially saving me some $$$$

Tried the Shield GEM today and it's pretty similar to the Sabre so that's great.

Tara did say James is working on a WR3 redesign but wouldn't say when that will happen.  I guess I'm just going to go an order a WR3 in 1.00 OC.  Take one for the team so to speak.
