What was the pricing of a complete Ti razor when it was last on the menu, $900 CAD?

Handles were $75 CAD each in the good old days...

So a Ti razor & stand was $825 Canadian several years ago… I’m guessing it could easily be north of $1,000 with the new pricing that’s coming. I imagine that would be quite a painful financial transaction for most.

Secondary market value is likely what he is going after.

$1000 CAD is $750ish USD. Double that and you are probably closer.

That would be rather dissuading.

Despite public commentary that gives him plenty of reasons to charge whatever he likes, he has always introduced
higher prices in a reasonable way...I'd like to think he'll stick to the tradition.

The only thing that worries me a little is that he'll likely look at competitor pricing and think,
oh heck, I'm way better than so and so....and then we have a problem. I personally find some other
Ti offerings quite overpriced, so Im hoping he doesn't try to set his prices higher just to make a point.

I remember the premium brush market was fairly normal and then everyone thought they should
charge more because they're better than the other guy of course...and thanks to that, we're in the
$500 brush zone today.

Praying James keeps it real.

The original Gillette Model 195 (which sold for $1.95) appears to be rapidly morphing into the $1,950 artisan special  Sad

It all comes down to what we are willing to pay.
