I’ve found the 1.55 oc to be great and sb side to be deadly
It's always interesting to see how we're all different, and that's a good example.
For me the SB is a lot smoother in the WR2 version.
We're not all the same and there's a good example, that kind of makes it more interesting.

I have the 1.55 in titanium and the 1.45 in SS brushed satin.
My 1.45 feels a little more lively on my face....the 1.55 is just a breeze to wield.
I don't think Ive used the 1.55 everyday for a sustained period though some have.
For me the perfect plan is: 1.35 daily, 1.45 every alternate day, 1.55 for any
number of days after that.

Took my WR2 Ti DC 145/1.55 SB for a spin today as it’s been awhile and because I had three and a half days growth it was a perfect time to use it. I’m glad I did. I also was looking forward to trying a new to me Shave soap that was sent to me by my new friend and fellow soap maker David aka dfoulk from The Cutting Edge.
I did a two pass WTG and ATG shave and for a the efficiency level of the razor it’s a smooth shaver with great face feel. Very well balanced and being a Ti the maneuverability was very good. I used a new Polsilver in the razor and I ended up with a solid level 2 BBS after the 2 passes. It’s been about 13 hrs since the shave and I’m still BBS smooth.
As for The Cutting Edge Mahogany and Lavender shave soaps performance I’d call it a top tier soap for sure with very good slickness and post shave I like the fact it didn’t leave any oily coating on my skin. Also like to say thank you to DanLaw for connecting David and myself as we have similar viewpoints on what we like in a shave soap. I know he’s in the process of repackaging and I know he’s got a new base he’s working on but if you get a chance to try one of his soaps I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The TOBS Sandalwood wasn’t a good match for the soap so I used another aftershave which isn’t in the photo.
I’m going to shave with my 3 Wolfman razors in the next week in antisapatuion of adding an old friend back into my den that I’ve always had a bit of remorse about selling the one I had and that’s the classic WR1 .61 DC SS with the HR7 Handle. This one will be the first Wolfman razor I’ve ever had with the basic brushed finish.

The WR2 1.25 has been great. Three easy and smooth passes to BBS. Thanks to Darktrader I tried a shim to make it a 1.35 and have had great two passes shaves every other day. When this blade wears out, I’ll trim it and use it to try a 1.45 gap. It should be just right for a 2 Pass shave every other day for me.
