The funny thing is that James sent me an email asking if I wanted to go that aggressive with this razor. I sent him several laughing faces and told him I was definitely sure! Don’t let that blade gap scare you guys. The design of this razor is absolutely incredible and the smoothness of it is really incomparable!

Congratulations my friend, she is beautiful. Your pictures make me want a brushed set.

I agree with everything you said. I am warming to the OC side on the 1st pass. The SB side is glass on subsequent passes.

I now question the need for a lot of other razors. The WR2 outperforms them all and has relegated them to bleacher duty recently.

Tell me about the #3 handle. It appears to be the 98mm? Hollow? How does it feel?

Yep, 98mm hollow and it is a joy to hold and wield. Glad I got the hollow version because it seems to be the perfect balance between heavy and light and the balance with the head is spot on! Love it. I now want a WRH1 100mm hollow as well.

That I do not know. It feels like the perfect width in my hands. I have been eyeing that handle for years.

One of the ways I like to judge the efficiency of my top razors is by face feel several hours after the shave and face feel the next day. I shaved yesterday around 1pm and my face was smooth as butter late last night and early this morning. I am just now starting to feel minimal stubble and it’s 11:20am. For me, that is highly efficient. The WR2 1.25 DC is highly efficient!

Hello, im very interested in this razor, but have concernes about gap. In De world the efficiency of rockwell at #4 plate is virtually enough for my stubble(dfs+). I usually shave every other day and do two passes or two passes with touchups with most razors, since three full passes is too much for my skin even with alumigoose ll + proguard blade.
So i want more comfort= less damage to skin then with rockwell at plate 4, and same or more efficiency. Should i stick with standard gap or look for 1.± cause its still mild and will give me closer shave?

Just in case - my 95% time razor is alumigoose 2 with shick proline blades.
