appreciate that - I'm thinking the same, to fill in a 'daily driver' gap.... thanks Sean!

I've been following this thread about WR2 head gaps - I received a titanium 1.25SB a couple of weeks ago and like it a lot - I shave pretty much every weekday, and while it's fine and comfortable, it's probably as high a gap as I'd like.
On the google form (after reading LOOT's post about the 1.05SB SS razor), that's what I requested - more of a daily shaver. I'm thinking I'll stay with that gap, but wanted to hear any thoughts about why that may not be the best choice before I reply to James Smile
Thanks!!
1.05 is a very comfortable and still very efficient razor. I absolutely love mine. I’ve used the DC in this head in stainless 1.05 and both sides were great but since I found the SB side smoother with no real loss of efficiency i moved my DC on to a new home and now have a 1.05 SB. For a daily shaver I couldn’t imagine a better choice. Good luck! It’s nice to see these Google forms turning into invoices!

I have been using the 1.05 for 6 days in a row and let me tell you im pretty impressed with it, its a smooth and very efficient gap, it might trick you in to thinking that its a mild razor because of the little to none blade feel, but the cut it's right there, 2 passes and im 80% bbs 20% dfs and i have a very thick mediterranean bear type.

Thanks Marc - that's really good to hear - I think I'll stick with the 1.05 given that I have more aggressive razors already - I really appreciate your input.
And I agree completely that it's nice to see the forms turning into invoices (well, not yet for me until I confirm, but I'll update here) ....

Thanks for that - my beard is not as thick as yours sounds, but it seems like the 1.05 is a reasonable gap - thanks for using it for 6 days in a row so I'd know Smile

That's great news, Ian. The e-mail system seems to be working rather well!

If 1.25 is your largest usable gap, the 1.05 sounds like a perfect fit for you as an every day shaver.

Congrats IanG153 on getting an invoice. I also plan on the 1.05 SB as the new daily driver. Like my Timeless .68 in both ss and ti but need a bit more aggressiveness. I do like the ss .95 but as a daily driver it can be a bit too much.  Hopefully I will receive an invoice sooner than later.

Thanks James - my sense of 1.25 as my largest usable gap isn't based on having tried a large gap, so I could well be mistaken, but the 1.25SB titanium feels both smooth and efficient (and the CG Level 3 did not - to me), so I'm reluctant to go higher ...

I was pleasantly surprised to receive the confirmation email this long after having submitted the google form - so I wanted to post to let people know James seems to be working his way down the list... I'll post an 'invoice received' when that step happens...

Thanks again!
Ian

Thanks! But to clarify - not an invoice yet - but at least an email for confirmation of the details I submitted on the google form
I also have a Timeless Ti .95 - not sure I 'need' that now Smile

I’ll add that the 1.05 can still knock down 3-4 days growth for me on a first pass like nobody’s business and I’d have a perfectly acceptable shave if I stopped there. Kinda cool how it can be as comfortable and efficient as it is actually.
