I've run the 105SB 3 shaves. All with Feather blades, all with varying growth, all standard 2.5 pass shaves.  Today I unleashed it on 3 days growth and was very impressed.  Mindful of angle, it provides minimal blade feel yet it mows down stubble.  It's smooth as glass and a real joy to use.  The 115 will put a 9 hour BBS shave on me with no problem.  It's more than capable and I see why the gap is popular.  I suppose I'll have to procure my own at this point.  I've certainly enjoyed the loaner.

Nice to hear about the 1.05SB - so, in titanium I was considering 1.25SB - if it were you would you now dial back?

No sir. If I only had one, it would be a Ti115SB. The Ti125SB is my second favorite. Those two are the core. The others are for fun.

Long story short, the root of the problem was the Nacet blades. I’m not sure if this was just a bad pack or they’re counterfeit or what.

Thanks again for all the advice regarding technique, handles, blades, etc.

That being said, I’d absolutely love to try a 1.75 gap!

Great news! What blade did you settle on in the 155?

A 1.75 is crazy talk! But, I could have my arm twisted.

Yessir! I can’t seem to find my box of Feathers since I moved so I’ve been using Polsilver.

Haha, truly. Always glad to enable!

Today I shaved with a WR1 DC .94 gap for the first time. I was interested to see how it compared to my .86 OC, my .74 DC, and my WR2 DC 1.15 OC 1.25 SB. So that is a lot of comparing and I'm not especially good with words as some are on these forums, but here goes ... My first Wolfman razors were an OC and SB .61 WR1. I recently sold both, as good as they were I now had more aggressive gaps which I found preferable.

The .74 DC was my first larger gap and I liked it fine and still do. Then the .86 OC came to me a year or two later and the shaves got better and better. These are all good gaps, but the .94 is my favorite of the bunch. The WR1 DC and the long WRH 1 handle were like a marriage made in heaven. The new Feather blade was not at all harsh with this combination, as I have sometimes found a new Feather with other combinations. The two pass shave was effortless and bbs at the finish. No weepers or any irritation.

I suppose the same could be said for the .74 DCor .86 OC as far as efficiency goes, but the larger the gap it seems the better in my particular case. Which brings us to the WR2 DC head. The 1.15 OC leads off and the 1.25 SB cleans up. That combination, whether with the WRH7 long hollow, or the WRH3 long solid handle is a great shaver. Not new news I know. Either gap is comfortable, super efficient, and delivers the goods. If I could only keep two it would be the WR2 DC and the WR1 .94 DC.

Matter of fact these razors have made a dual comb believer out of me. I used to poo poo the idea, thinking I'd want one of each, separate OC and SB, but no more. First pass with the OC and follow up with the SB is just working so well I plan on switching out any that I have the opportunity to for a DC. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Excellent review. I'd like to know how the 94s OC vs SB compares. See if you can tell a difference in efficiency.

Then you could run the 125SB vs 94SB and see which one cuts closer.

Is your handle solid? If so, that big giant handle works very well with the with the 94 head.

Order a 1.25 then follow up with an email requesting increased gap. He is very accommodating.

Not off the top of my head. I'm sure it was documented earlier in the thread. I didn't order anything so I'm not positive. I'd like to say this Friday will make 3 weeks. I could be bad wrong.
