I agree. If everyone got to get  a Wolfman on loan it would make the process way less expensive and not so stressful.  But  looking through the other persons eyes who already have a Wolfman, you cannot blame them for not loaning their expensive razor put to someone they don't even know. Most 90%  people in the community would be honest and take care of that persons razor, but there's always a rogue in every bunch, no matter where you go. I really felt privileged for a fellow to trust me and offer and  let me borrow the Lupo .58   Even though it really doesn't give me an idea on the Wolfman, because the Lupo is tame compared to the Wolfman based on what i have read. I am rethinking the wr1 and reading up on the wr2. The more you read it really doesn't help, because at the end of the day YMMV...

Hi all

I borrowed a Lupo .58 from a guy on the shave forums. The Lupo is supposed to be a dupe of the wr1 Wolfman. Someone else (several people) said that the Lupo is tamer than the Wolfman wr1.61, so if i get a wr1 maybe drop back a gap to maybe .54. I can't decide on a wr1 or wr2. Anyways whats a comparable gap in wr2 that efficient and aggressive or mild wise as a wr1 .54 and .61?

Also do you guys shave at a shallow angle going atg on the upper lip? I hear all these guys shaving high/steep. I am not sure if they shave steep atg on the upper lip?? Whenever i do it rips and pulls out the hair and leaves pore sized blood spots..

I personally don't shave agt on the upper. I don't need to. Check out Dave In Ky videos. He does shave agt on the upper lip. It takes good technique and a good soap/Lather.

1 wtg and 2 xtg passes get me good.
