I really like this site how especially cool they are about our postings.

The other place is quick to throw their “weight” around and is extremely difficult for artisans to work with.

If it weren’t for DFS my forum days would be long over. Myself and many fantastic folks have been banned at B&B for petty and ridiculous reasons. Grateful to Andrew for providing this place.

I value both forums highly.  I'm sorry you guys had bad experiences over there. Even so, and even though things are clearly less than perfect, I think both have hardworking moderating staffs, both have knowledgeable members, and both have content I value.  That said however, I joined DFS in May of 2018 in order to get in on a group buy, and since then I have spent the majority of my time here.  BTW, I did try once to have my other name shortened to HighSpeed, but that slipped through the cracks.  Perhaps I should try again.  As it is, I put a cross reference to the "other" name in my profile on each site, but I admit that it is rather buried there.  I prefer the shorter name, but we all have to live with our decisions.

Back to the Wizamet's:  I will definitely keep folks posted on my experience.

PS  I think it is actually Matsilainen's link

The member, milogciachez, is probably your best source of acquiring the Wizamet Iridium Super blades in the blue package.
He is a member on The Shave Nook, as well. and you can contact him via that forum or email him directly, here: superiridiumblades@gmail.com
I have gotten quite a few blades from him, directly from Spain, over the years and he is a great gentleman.

By the way, the older Wizamet in the brown package aren't as good as the ones in the blue package, for whatever reason, in my opinion. However, YMMV. Smile

I confirm - I have also several times bought from milogciachez. Very pleasant to deal with and the blades are genuine (in fact, pretty much the only blades I use, and I now have sufficient stock to last me a lifetime)

My 100 Wizamets from the above mentioned source from Spain just arrived today. Once I open them up I’ll compare and report back.

I mentioned earlier that I ordered 100 Wizamets on the bay from milogciachez.  They were due anytime between 24-JUL and 07-AUG.  Well, they showed up very quickly on 24-JUL, and the boxes looked exactly like what I expected.  As of this morning I am two shaves in with the first blade I picked, and as pleased as I could possibly be after only two shaves.

I was conservative with the first shave, and popped the blade into one of my smoother razors, the PAA Ascension Copper DOC.  I like the Copper DOC, and the shave was fine, but it was not especially something to write home about.  So for the second shave, I used a smooth but IME more efficient razor - a Gillette New Long Comb.  My, oh my, what a delightful shave - a bloodless BBS.  I put some Speick on afterwards and felt no burn.  I am hoping that this experience is at least somewhat repeatable and not just some honeymoon kind of deal.

I can confirm mine arrived very quickly as well. Visually everything checks out. I’ll give them a go this Sunday.
