Does anyone know the status of project leather? It sounds amazing and I want it...

Waiting on labels for Project Leather.  Should be ready after Fougère Bouquet Special Edition soap, EdT and EdP.

Does that mean it will be released in November or December?

That sounds interesting, can you give me a frame of reference - how will Project Leather compare to Cuero Oscuro?  And for what its worth, Genghis Khan would kick Churchill's butt.  Just saying.

The leather accord in Project Leather is quite different from the one that is used in Cuero Oscuro.  The leather scent is less dirty than Cuero Oscuro and more refined. And in order to make it more refined tobacco, bourbon and other notes are added that takes the leather to a different dimension.  Think of dirty meeting refined.

Merchant of Tobacco is rich, dark, and decadent. All of the other notes that you added compliment the tobacco really well. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with leather. the complimentary notes you had listed sound fantastic and think they'll give the leather a ton of depth.

I'm not trying to whisper too much in your ear, but i'd love to see a "project wood" sometime in the future from Wholly Kaw. based on what you've already done with Tobacco and what you're working on with Leather, i think you can come up with something truly unique and special. i'm not talking about a "stroll through the forest" wood like Boreal from Tallow and Steel or Coniferous from Stirling.

im thinking of mahogany, teak, cedar, rounded out with notes of pipe tobacco, leather, sandalwood, musk, fir, and maybe some cognac or bourbon. maybe throw in some amber, benzoin, a touch of vanilla or warm spices. its what i would imagine the smell would be like if i walked into an old lounge or study in royal geographical society in the 1800s.

you could rock the daylights out of that scent.

It will part of the regular line up through end of January. Also available with retailers.

Sounds good. Hopefully some day there will also be an EdT or an EdP to go along. Haven’t even tried Chypre Rose Concerto yet, but from what I’ve read, it sounds mesmerizing.
