I was gifted a liter of Kirkland bottled in bond by Barton

First try out of the bottle I got some green apple flavor. But it tasted quite young. Hope some airing out will help.

Bulliet single barrel that was on sale for $10 off. I liked this bourbon. Got some cinnamon and butterscotch. A very nice sipper for the holidays

Wild Turkey 101 this one surprised me. I recall having tried it about 30yrs ago and didn’t like it at all. But this time around I got some bold cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and baking spice. I really liked it and for the price. I’ll definitely be keeping a bottle of it on hand.

I'm on a no alcohol diet trying to lose weight for my daughter's wedding. Kentucky 74 has not been a bad substitute for the real thing in a Manhattan.

Tonight's libation of choice also means I'll be drinking my desert. Chocolate pudding moonshine. It's fantastic!

A friend wanted to thank me for helping him when his roof was leaking and dropped this off for me today so a couple fingers were poured tonight. Smooth. I love how these distilleries in tourist areas are popping up. Ya read the fine print and it's not distilled here but distilled in Indiana and bottled in Pigeon Forge, TN but let's pretend we're an actual distillery. I don't want to break it to them and certainly not going to say no to a bottle of bourbon I had not tried before Big Grin

A friend picked this up and shared some wih me. Heavy on the alcohol but nice spiciness. I enjoyed it but wouldn't pay the $200 a bottle.

Stagg at 130 proof! . The high proof bourbons are not my favorites. I recognize their complexity however. My wheelhouse is 90-110 proof, 8-15 years. Buffalo Trace has great bourbons. Their mash bills are outstanding.

I usually like my bourbon neat but I also appreciate an Old Fashioned from time to time.  Figured I couldn’t pass this up as my local BevMo was selling it at the exact same price as a regular 750ml bottle of Elijah Craig.  A free jigger and enough mix for 8 cocktails.  Black walnut was a new flavor for me and one I enjoyed more than I thought I would.

If one of you guys is swinging through Chester County stop by, I’ll never get though my bourbon or wine before I’m gone.
