I was not going to respond any more in this thread but, out of curiosity, started watching the clip that darkbulb posted. Out of a video that is 11:55 minutes long, I lasted 1:43 minutes and even that was too long. Frankly, it was so offensive, on a few levels, that I wish it hadn't been posted. For those of you who still watch his videos, I sincerely hope you will not post them here. Not only is the above video not shaving related but, frankly, I cannot even see any logical reason for it to be posted in The Lounge, where we chat about other subjects.

Considering you never know when Firearms are going to be discussed, it breaks Rule #1 to post them.

Here are a few forum rules that we hope will be simple enough to keep the forum environment relaxed but still have some structure in place.

1: Please keep the discussion of religion, politics and weapons for other sites.

Bruce, I was aware of this but am hoping that rather than just pull the video, common sense will prevail.  If not, then stronger measures, such as removing a post might have to occur.  I don't think darkbulb was trying to start anything but rather was just trying to explain why he dropped these particular YouTube threads.  Even so, I do not believe they have a place here.

I know you weren't trying to start anything Freddy.

But wanted other members to know that firearm discussions are not allowed.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

After watching it again, ugh, I do agree with you - it's not really shaving related at all even though it of course sports TSE - so I went ahead and deleted the video post as I didn't mean to post anything just for the sake of it being offensive. It was simply meant as an example of why I personally don't watch the videos any more as I thought showing one was better than just describing why. My bad.

Yes, it's not shaving related, so it shouldn't be in the shaving related fora. But okay in The Lounge or you're gonna have to rewrite the rules and that would go against any board with which I'm affiliated in their lounge type fora.

See my above comment.

Not a facade, merely a different persona for a different topic using the couch to present it. That video was expressing the safety that all knowledgable gun people apply when handling their weapons. Chris is former LE (Law Enforcement) and has a vested interest in gun safety and proper handling!
