Oh yes, it is that good. Slick. Protective. Scent is an awesome blend of lavender, vanilla, sandalwood. Finished with Sir Henry after splash. I smell marvelous. There is a pass-around going on if you would like to give this one a shot. I recommend it as my tub sees regular use.

Good coconut heavy scent, the Sandalwood appears to be more of a background providing depth and a base. Good soap that's summery with the coconut but can span seasons with the woody sandalwood base. As expected from MW, a good all around product for the actual shave.

The Cremo spreads a little thin BUT has very good slick properties. It’s my opinion the Reuzel is MUCH more moisturizing on the skin during and post shave. The scent is TOP! I had to order the aftershave tonic because if it smells like the cream, wow. It’s that pleasing of a Sandalwood. We’ve all smelled Sandalwood, but this one, it’s special. It was that enjoyable of a product. The price was right. I tried to purchase 2 more today for my brothers and the price went to $7.09, still I’d pay $15.(08-27-2019, 04:04 AM)ExtraProtein Wrote: REUZEL Shave Cream.....my mini review...Wow awesome review, thanks.
This is a brushless cream, hand lather only. Fluffy, rich, works up a fantastic lather, you can feel the moisturizing properties of this cream. Impeccable lubrication, it has a rich sheen. The razor glides over your skin, my second pass didn’t require but some detail and buffing or reapplication! This is a very thick and rich cream; attention to your razor post shave is required (cleaning/rinsing). I know most of you love your brushes, but for travel or a holiday, try this, you won’t be disappointed!
I must admit, I’ve used some very high end soaps/creams made with the finest materials by artisanal recipes passed down for centuries, but this $3.85 puck of cream may have given me one of the best shaves of my life, top 5 for sure!
The scent of this soap, I cannot describe it. Bold, Barbershoppesque, definitely a Sandalwood like no other. This is THE best Sandalwood scent I’ve ever smelled, it is NOT overdone, and it doesn’t linger after your shave ends. Lol, I actually used it as a PRE on my face whilst showering.
I was going to shave with a Thiers Issard (I’ve been practicing and practicing) but I really wanted to enjoy this shave without extra effort. Monday’s are my favourite shaving day, it sets the tone for my week! I chose wisely when reaching for one of my favs, The Brass General!
I did NOT want the shave to end...
So it's brushless, like Cremo? How would you compare it to Cremo (if you've ever tried it)?
