OK now I am interested as I have it coming in October. How did you like it? Does it live up to the B & M excellence?

I like the soap a lot. It's in the Reserve base which I believe is their best formula and actually one of the best I've ever used. I'm not sure if you've ever tried any of those. It's a soft soap that yields excellent slickness. I would describe the scent as heavenly and not dark at all despite the odd and over the top (IMO) branding. It's a very complex, refined and sophisticated scent, almost cologne-like once you put water to it. It really opens up upon lathering.
