My Blackland Sabre hasn’t seen much use. This is the original version of the razor, highly polished and lovely, but also heavy and bit unwieldy along the upper lip. It does, however, give a nice one-pass shave on the broad open areas, especially when I remember to ride the cap. A hearty dousing with Cat o’ Nine Tails bay rum aftershave barely sizzled before settling down into a warm and spicy coating. Unlike most bay rums, this one has some legs.

Amazingly, I only get the Mysore... and I don't know how he did it at that price. Creamy and woody. Very real, I would not expect a fragrance oil to be so true. But it must have been, for the price.

Scent Profile: Mysore Sandalwood, Sage/Patchouli Hydrosol, Oakwood Absolute, Benzoin Resin, Hedione & Artemisia Essential Oil (Wormwood).
