Seaforth! Spiced – good grief, what a scent. Strong, sweet, and about as subtle as a marching band in a phone booth. Tedolph, if your Seaforth! Fleur de France is anything like this, I finally get your hesitations. Spiced is not a whisper; it’s a fog horn on your pillow. There’s no room for aftershave, no room for cologne – barely any room for you. It’s cardamom and vanilla slamming each other to the mat while cinnamon cheers them on. It’s rice pudding fed through a megaphone. There are flowers, but they’re in the backseat. They only came for the ride. Nice shave, but this scent needs some airing out.

My conclusion (based on limited data) is that Spearhead Shaving products are very heavily scented, almost to the point of being unusable. If you are going to go this route you have to use their matching aftershaves, which are also very strong (make sure that you shake them up before applying), and have glycerine which for me is the final straw. Don't get me wrong, they are quality products using quality ingredients, but they (Spearhead) have very different sensibilities than I do.

For people who like really strong (overbearing?) scents, these products might be perfect. You definitely can not use them for the office, and I would not wear them on a date or out to dinner.
