Natural Bay Rum (Meißner Tremonia) pure bay rum

This soap smells like Dominican bay leaves. Simple. Straightforward. Authentic. Just a hint of citrus, a drop of rum, and a wee pinch of cloves round out the fragrance. Lovely stuff. I’ve been hoarding it because Meißner Tremonia doesn’t make it anymore. But hoarding soap because it smells good? That’s like trying to save sunlight in a bottle. The fragrance won't last. So, I dipped my brush in, deep and greedy, and let the spicy scent tell me stories of bootleggers and pirates. Then I followed it up with Cat o’ Nine Tails bay rum aftershave. It burned, of course, but only my lips. The shave itself was remarkably smooth and easy.
