Probably my most favorite shave soap of all time. I presume this is the old tallow formula.

It smells like warm clover honey. I like it now, but when I first opened the tub a couple years ago, it was too fruity, almost overwhelming. Over time that overripeness has faded, leaving behind a softer sweetness with a hint of flowers. It’s much better smelling now, and more inviting.

I’ve no idea how to pronounce Abbate Y La Mantia but it showed up on Christmas as a gift from my son.  Well, a recycled gift. He bought it for himself but didn’t care for the scent. Said it smelled like grandmas purse…..and thought the old man would like an old scent.  Well he was correct, and he needs to sniff some more grandmas purses because this one is not that.  Hard soaps are my thing and this one performs.  Woody citrus is the vibe.
