After just one shave, the stale, cheesy side note is beginning to fade. This soap sat unused and unloved for quite some time, and it developed a kind of fug. While its performance is decent, it still carries a bitter undertone that reminds me of the dairy drawer in an old refrigerator. I’m hoping that with continued use, I can bring back the original fragrance of oud and sandalwood that once made it so appealing. So far, this approach seems promising.
