Green Man - AON Base - Murphy and McNeil

As a green man who lives the color green and loves the pedal steel playing of Lloyd Green, I'd love to love Green Man . . . but I think I actually prefer the scent of Triskele and definitely that of Glen to Glen even moreso.

The AON base seems fine, as far as I can tell, but the scarcer Kodiak and Slainte bases look more promising.

Don José (Abbate y La Mantia) frozen banana
Shave 2

Yes this smells like cold bananas and coconuts. But close your eyes and take another whiff, and tell me that you don’t also smell apples, grapes, and cedar. Of course there’s a big dollop of menthol as well. The chill won’t shake your bones, but it will leave you feeling clean and refreshed. All around, this is a fun and fruity soap, perfect for the warm last day of spring.

Karve’s Bison razor, made of aluminum, is fast becoming a favorite. It’s light and efficient like yesterday’s aluminum Christopher Bradley razor, but the Bison’s angle is much more intuitive. There’s no need to ride the cap, and just one pass, with the grain, scrapes me clean for a full day.
