Tundra Artica v. (Saponificio Varesino) woody oud

A generous dose of oud makes Tundra Artica smell more like a hidden temple in a Laotian jungle than a log cabin hunkered down on a windswept arctic plain. So how did it get its chilly name? Saponificio Varesino scours the planet looking for ingredients that will leave your skin feeling especially happy after a shave with their soap. For Tundra Artica, they looked to the far north and found Icelandic lichen, which is supposed to sooth, purify, and calm your skin. It may even have some antibacterial properties. Some apply it directly to wounds to speed recovery. I don't know if that actually works since this soap is so protective, I've never had a nick.

Strong 'n Scottish  -  I was a little disappointed in the scent strength on this soap.  I was expecting a bold "in-your-face"-type strength.  What I sense is  a subtle "earth" scent that ranks about a 6 out of 10.  Don't get me wrong...the scent is wonderful.  It's a clay-like scent that is very pleasing  I just wish it were stronger

This morning I loaded a dry brush in the paste for 4-5 swirls.  It was more than enough!  I face-lathered for about 10 minutes and ended up with a very lush lather.  It is certainly a different lather than MW or Shannon's.  I wasn't able to get it to the consistency that i can from those two but definitely enjoyed the lather produced.
