Laureato v. (Abbate y La Mantia) lemon bay
I didn’t really look on the lather-encrusted razor with the same sort of admiration I do when I’m using a soap that’s dense with tallow or clay. No problems with the actual scraping this morning, but the joie de raser just wasn’t there. Good glide? Yup. Good cushion? Certainly. But somehow I missed the wow. Maybe it was because loading this soap proved tricky. Sixty seconds of swirling gave me just enough lather for two light passes. Happily the finish was fine thanks to propylene glycol. A distant cousin to antifreeze, it sucks up moisture and keeps the cheeks plump all day. Nothing wrong with the scent. Woody, crisp, and very lemony, it smells like Eau Sauvage just out of the gates.

Not sure what the big deal is - have had it fior years. Probably reach for it once a year. Light almond scent, not that slick.
Huh. Oh well, Stirling is way better for 3 times less.
Btw- jar sucks. Can't get a good load without serious contortion.
