Himalayan salt is said to be particularly rich in minerals that are supposed to reduce inflammation and promote soft, smooth skin. Maybe that's why I get such a comfortable finish from this soap. My skin's left dry and very smooth with a slight waxy feel, sort of like lanolin (though there's none of that in this vegan soap). It's especially nice on a hot, muggy day when even a light moisturizer would be too much.
