Pete123 how do you like it. Have you used the RR Monster or Stirling Kong. I have the monster. I noticed that the loft was a little shorter on the Maggards and was just wondering how it compared. Nice looking brush.

I haven't used either of the ones you mentioned. This one is brand new from Maggard. It's a beast. I really like it. I moved to synthetic because most of the natural fibers come from China's fur trade, which I don't trust.

I've been very, very pleased. As a whole, I like all of the Maggard synthetic shaving brushes, I have all models, better than my small but really nice badger or my boar.

The bristles are so very soft on my face, much softer than the badger.

I've noticed on the Maggard synthetic that you don't want to much water in the bristles toward the handle or water will drip on your chest.

I highly recommend the Maggard synthetic brushes. The handles look like nice acrylic to me. They call them resin...not sure of the difference. The one I referenced looks like a work of art.
