I would have wished it had more backbone, but the softness of this brush was just amazing. I love the handle heft, it's metal and the flowthrough is pretty good. Still breaking this in so it's really funky but I think this will go right up to my list of favorite brushes, along with my WW and RV. It is simply an excellent brush. Silvertip feel in every sense of the word. No scritch, it feels even more gentle than my plisson/type synthetics.

It's an anniversary gift from my wife actually.. I love it

Maggard Synthetic. No different than the Bruce really. I tried to find one without a large glue bump but no luck. Still a nice brush but no Stirling Kong.
