Probably cabin fever, but I'm thinking of adding another brush to my collection (below) - I'm sure I have a gap to fill in somewhere Smile
Looking for ideas for colors as much as shape - I can find a knot, but would love to see a picture of your favorite handle!

Ergonomically: In first, it PAINS me to suggest Samurai. Second choice, Tatara. Third Mozingo Jefferson fatty (san medallion). Fourth tie between Simpson Chubby 2 and Kent BK 8 or 12, DG Washington and Jefferson.

Thanks Dan! I'm actually looking for color ideas as much as make, so please feel free to post pics - I edited my post to clarify...

Just a simple country boy here. Prefer the basics of ivory and ebony for most part, although the raw metals are enticing. Love the concept of the patterned elforyn fake ivory stock being discussed. Lately have come to admire DGs colourations (BOK, Amethyst, various blues). Simpson's blues are amazing: especially cobalt and sapphire and apparently Paladin's too although his other colourations way too loud for my tastes. Working on a project likely to be the ultimate handle from my perspective but no commercial interest in the project.

That's insanely gorgeous. I can't imagine it in hand. The polish work looks pretty danged good too. That's probably my favorite too. Lock the thread.

BTW, that reminded me of 2 brushes that have really impressed visually as of late:

Tommy's Feldmans:

Smurfup77's Promethius - loud but incredibly well done:

My favorite, just because it fits my hand perfectly, is the Rooney 3/2 (Style 3 Size 2).
