Grate a couple of them into the container of your choice.

Andrew, the soap is excellent and for the price, it is well worth the money; very subtle scent, but the performance is great. Shy

I love Haslinger. It's one if not my favorite soap. It's simplicity is very charming.

I wish they would release a bigger one with its own bowl, and an aftershave balm too.

zaclikestoshave was kind enough to send me 4 pucks of haslinger to try: honig, coconut, Schafmilch & I believe salbei.  the scents are all pretty mild as most would say.  my favorite scent of the bunch is probably schafmilch, followed by honig.

I've had 3-4 shaves using the schafmilch now.  it's a pretty good soap and probably 1 of the easiest soaps I've ever lathered.  I can tell it's a slick soap just by rubbing the bloom water on my neck before I start lathering on the puck.

my only gripe with the soap is the small puck sizes.  I had to spend 5-10 minutes grating & pressing the soap into a soap tub that was empty and cleaned out.  my suggestion for the cheese grater is to use a rotary grater.  I started out using a microplane grater and it was absolutely taking forever.

No need to grate the soap. Here's two pucks of Schafmilch I recently put in one of those wonderful PETG Maggard jars. I simply cut the two pucks in half and carefully mold them into the wide jar. Easy. Good for over 60 shaves.

I recently started using Haslinger soaps again. I really appreciate their gentle scents. There are some amazing soap makers out there now (Jabonman, Mike's, CRSW, L&L, P&B) just to name a few. Haslinger stands right beside them. Just love this soap.

I finally got around to buying a puck this (last) year. I expect to always have one in the mix now. It is definitely a top tier soap.

maggard's was out of those tubs when I placed my last order so I just picked up a few empty containers he had. I think I got a GFT and Henri et Victoria container.

Stumbled here looking for something else, but since I happened to see the discussion on jars…. Those Colt-Ainer jars that Maggard Razor sells from time to time (and in which they also sell their own line of soap) seem to also be the choice for all new Barrister and Mann glissant-base soaps. And for good reason — they are great, great jars.

Perhaps I need to finish one of the ones I have and put some Haslinger in it. Smile

I haven't been doing this as long as most of you guys, but I picked it up quick and ran with it. I have a lot of B&M, Stirling, Catie's Bubbles, PAA etc.. And I always get great lather even with well water. I'd put Haslinger Schafmilch at or very near the top performance wise. The scent is mild and yeah it's nice having a nice scented soap like Cologne Russe, but as soon as I'm done shaving and wash my face does the scent even matter? Especially once I splash on an AS?

Matt, yes just wonderful jars. Colt offers different sizes but I'm glad I picked some up from Maggard's as I can't find anywhere to buy them unless in bulk. Colt doesn't appear to sell outside their Connecticut headquarters.

It is nice that at least someone (Maggard) offers them from time to time. I’ve bought some jars from another vendor before (Parkway — and not in bulk), as their website makes it easy to do so. But like you said, sadly, Colt doesn’t seem to offer a similar option for us who sometimes like to buy loose pucks.
