Doesn't matter how anyone feels, honestly. People are gonna continue to buy and sell. Folks are constantly lining up ready to pay as much as $100 over MSRP just for some "unobtanium". It blows my mind.
I would love to see the reaction if B&M ever decided to start selling soaps for $100.

In the OP, if you check the bidding history it started at $1. I do not believe anything sold at auction with a reasonable reserve is overpriced because the seller isn't setting the price. Or am I missing something?

Cheers, Steve

Kind of reminds me of the King Gillette signature deal:

I would’ve jumped on that, but the extra for the shipping was a real deal breaker.

My feeling is flip away. Once I buy something it is mine to do with what I please.

And this is uncommon on eBay? If not, why is everyone acting so incredulous? It is like being shocked that the sky is blue. A $112 used cake of soap on eBay is about people with a screw loose, not about precious goods.

If the problem is that sellers are putting huge markups on piffed or discounted items, then maybe don't sell or pif to folks you don't know. Yeah, it kinda sucks, but that's what happens when weasels discover the wetshaving forums. And also when folks imagine they have any say over items they sell or give away. It might be best to simply sell items at a fair price - fair to both you and the buyer. Then nobody gets hurt feelings, nobody gets ripped off, and the weasels get de-weaselized.
