My suggestion is you try a different razor with your blades. Every razor gives a different experience. Some are more efficient than others.

Your "liked" blades follow what many of us have found works best, and most are in the top of Ray Clem's list. The only one missing is the Gillette 7'OClock Super Platinum BLACK from India. Those are sharp and smooth blades. They are near the top of Ray Clem's list. For me, they are just under the Bic blades in sharpness, and are comfortable and smooth. They are generally more expensive than other blades, and are usually less expensive in the saloon metal container (if you can find them). I have not found them at less than 25 cents per blade, and they are usually 35 cents or more. You can always try a tuck and make your own decision about them. Ray Clem did all of us a service (over many months) by evaluating blades by how they shaved and creating a very thorough summary of his results. I personally agree with nearly all of his conclusions, so we must have similar skin, beards and shaving techniques. As Vittoria has stated...different razors may present very different outcomes with the same blades, so please take that into account when making your conclusions.

I sold my stash of 2000 Polsilver blades back in 2016 when I stopped using DE razors. I regret that now.

I started DE razor shaving again in 2020 and have now settled on using 4 DE blades which I’ll rotate between depending on the DE razor I use for the shave.

What I find is that my preference seems to be that I prefer a sharper blade in a milder razor and a milder blade in a more aggressive razor.

I’ve also found that after I took a 4 year break from DE razors I now seem to be less sensitive about what blade I’m using. Pretty much all blades now work for me.
I feel almost like Geo Fatboy, who seems to be able to shave with the worst blade and still get a decent shave out of it.

I still buy new DE razors, but I try to rotate between the 25 DE razors I currently own, so I get a good indication of what blade works best in which razor.

However my 4 favourite DE blades are now:

Personna Platinum - I own the ones made in Israel as well as the ones made in Germany. I feel like they moved the machines to Germany, because to me they are the same blade.

Gillette Platinum - just a very smooth sharp blade. Made in St. Petersburg.

Gillette Permasharp - the ones in the light brown and red packaging which were made in St. Petersburg. Great blade.

Astra Superior Platinum - my favourite budget blade. My 2000 stash were bought in 2021, before the war in Ukraine started. They are made in St. Petersburg. Great smooth blade, not the sharpest out there, but smooth. Works great in my more aggressive razors.

Today I try my best to not support products made in Russia.

My take on find perfect Blade is different than many people. I sort of like Gillette’s 7-O-Clocks, the Black never works well for me, they only go 2 - 3 Shaves, s]so that are not a lot of bang for buck. I like the Yellows, and Greens. Those Blade held me 5-7 Great Shaves. But that is what work well on my Beard, everyone’s Beard is not the same as mine. So the only advice is buy some blade Sample, and hope you find something that works well on your Beard. Wish I had a magic answer for you but being honest & blind I cannot predict what will work well for you personally.
