What is everyone reading at the moment?

I just started the ePub version of Scott Mariani's latest Ben Hope thriller, House of War, from the library; I am trying to preserve my stack of paper books so that I don't run out.

If I remember correctly, that was the one with Burgess Meredith.  A true classic.

John's post brought back the memory from childhood.

When I was a kid, my parents would drop me off on Saturday mornings at a bookshop in southern California called Acres of Books.  And that's what it was, literally, acres of semi-arranged, overflowing bookshelves full of used books, with winding pathways among them.  I was free to wander in there for a couple hours, with a few precious dollars in my pocket to spend on books I wanted, while my parents ran errands.  I wouldn't mind being quarantined there...
But meanwhile, I have an order in at our local library system for an eBook copy of Mozart: A Life in Letters by Stewart Spencer, with Mozart's full correspondence, which I'll be able to read with Adobe Digital Editions on my desktop.

Well, I'm looking at it from a different perspective. Selco Begovic survived the Balkan War as a civilian and he tells of his experiences during that SHTF. He has written 2 books and I'm almost done with the 2nd one. Most war books are written from the perspective of a soldier, these books are not that.

Sort of on a Patricia Cornwell kick of late. That and studying the Middle Fork Salmon river map because my raft hits the water there on the 30th.
