So far the only soap I've used start to finish is a puck of Stirling Frozen Tundra. I've now got a puck of Haslinger Shafmilch with 10-15 shaves left in it. I shave about every 3 days so it takes a while for me to go through a puck, although I use soaps mostly one at a time.

After over a year of wet shaving I have finished my first soap. A sample of Mystic Water Egyptian Dragon, wonderful dragons blood, incense type of scent. Even thou it was a sample, it still feels good to FINALLY finish something. The sample lasted 5 shaves, I loaded pretty heavy since it was my first experience with MW. Excellent performance and great scent.

That scent is truly something special, very classy in my opinion. Sometimes I wish Mystic Water Soap had matching aftershaves!

When there are a lot of samples in rotation, it’s difficult to finish anything. Like you said, Mystic samples last around five shaves, Stirling’s anywhere from 10 to 20. If you have around 10 samples of either one (or both, as is the case with me), that’s a lot of shaves. Happy2

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Just finished a tube 'Alvarez Gomez Barberia' shaving cream. Very nice and good performing, but I don't like the scent anymore. That's why I won't buy it again.

I agree, if MW made Egyptian Dragon aftershave I would pick one up in a heartbeat. Stirling samples last forever! I ended up mixing up a long list of soaps so I could use multiple soaps at once and hopefully use some of them up in the process.

This is the second Reserve aftershave I have finished (first was Cool). I love it, will definitely buy it again, but I have to finish a few more things first.

The scent is an old people scent - it reminds me all the older folks who had an impact on my life, every time I use it I get this sense of gratitude, respect. And I always remember Freddy from DFS when I use this Smile.

Yup, that’s me, an old person, with a scent to match. Winking  Sourav, your post put a real smile on my face, especially today, after having to deal with someone who wasn’t very pleasant.

The funny thing is that a scent that a younger man like you sees as old or dated, an older person like me doesn’t because we’ve grown with it and may not realize that times change.  Even so, I refuse to wear Sauvage (not Eau Sauvage) by Dior.  I don’t care how trendy it is, I loathe it and will happily stick to old people’s scents (aka classic scents Big Grin).
