I’ve been able to try a sample of that one! Such a nice, fresh, enlivening scent!

It is one of my favorites but, sadly, Shawn of Chatillon Lux is discontinuing it after the current bottles are sold. I have a backup coming.

My apologies for the late reply. I just saw your post and question on this fragrance.

Rum, Smokiness, Tobacco, Leather and a pinch of sugar cane sweetness. Very manly and on the drydown a masculine leather sweetness that is still faintly accompanied by the boozy note. Nothing like Tom Ford's Ombre Leather that is leather that dries to a raspberry type vibe or Acqua di Parma's Leather which exhibits a bit of a zesty citrus like beginning that quickly gives to a very refined and almost a new leather type accord.

Think James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause. Cool, a bit raw with some restlessness thrown in to go with the bad boy attitude.

Not for everyone but, you certainly will stand out in the crowd. Surprisingly, the Misses loves this when we're going out to local eateries and pubs. She says it fits those occasions perfectly.

How is the projection and, especially, the longevity? Finding scents just gutless these days

About arms length the first hour to 90 minutes then a bit closer for about 5-6 hours then a skin scent after 8 hours. JV's are pretty much known for poor longevity and projection but, this one is quite decent. Won't blow your mind but, for the money it's a solid performer.
