I love my WR2  DC 1.25SB/1.45SB. Still I get better shaves with my Rocnel Elite 2019 Agressive

Overall, nothing beats my 1.55 WR2 Ti SB in its ability to do everything well.

The Rocnel 2020 Sailor can shave closer but it’s nowhere near as nimble and can’t be cruise controlled as easily at higher settings.

The RS-10 with the aggressive plate is smoother but lacks the efficiency I usually need for multiple days growth.

Nothing I’ve used checks as many boxes as the WR2. It’s not perfect but it’s as close as I’ve found.

I've heard on good authority from two people that really know their stuff that 2020 Sailor is smoother, more efficient, and more comfortable than all WR2 gaps

I wish I liked my WR1 .61 as much as everyone seems to like their WR2. I've had it for five years now and I still find the shave to be "meh." Glad to see so many enjoy their wolfman razors.

For no drama days I pull out my trusty Muhle R89.

Sorry for the derailing. But I prefer a bunch of modern razors to Sailor 2020. The list include WR2, CG, Paradigm, Tatara, Timeless, Blackland, etc..

Sailor 2020 is even not the best adjustable razor I've tried

I don't know about 'beats' my WR2, I don't see it that way. The WR1, Charcoal Goods Lvl 2 & 3, the Blackbird are all favorite DEs.

I pretty much find myself rotating through those, with the Wolfman 1 & 2 seeing the most action ... maybe because I have multiple gaps in each.

I'd say for me CG comes closest in performance. YMMV.

Agree with JimmyH. There are razors that I prefer using on some days rather than others, but my preference changes. In my regular rotation are:
WR 2 1.55 SB
WR2 1.45 OC
WR1 .91 OC
ATT H1
Muhle R41
Charcoal Goods LVL 3 OC(1st generation--I don't use this as much as I should because I'm "saving" it and don't want to wear it out: idiotic I know)
Merkur Futur(using this one less nowadays because of how big the head is)
Gillette OC Traveler tech
Gillette OC Milady Decollete(a wonderful medium aggressive OC razor)
I use pretty much one of the above on any given day(and it seems like random choice between)

Sorry but I'll take LOOT and george1906 opinion over yours since they have all WR2 gaps as well as the 2020 Sailor

Tried WR2 1.25 SB and sold it. Smooth but not efficient enough for me. WR1 .67, .83, and .90 work much better on my face. Outside the pack, there are a few razors that I prefer to the WR2:

BlackBird Ti
BlackBird SS
BlackBird Brass
Rockwell 6S
RS-10
Weber Polished and DLC
CharcoalGoods Lvl3
Paradigm Ti I
