I've been happily shaving with a WR2 for over a year now, but wonder where to go next in the hobby. For those of you that have had a WR2, what did you find that beats it for you? It would be great to hear your story. Please mention your WR2 blade gap!

I sold my WR2 (0.95 DC) since it couldn't compete with my Barbaros TR-2 (or Schick Type-O) in shave quality.
There's no competing with Wolfman craftsmanship though...it's the best!
Edit: The WR2-DC I sold WAS better than any of the WR1 razors I've owned (they're all sold too).

If you teach a poor young man to shave himself, and keep his razor in order, you may contribute more to the happiness of his life than in giving him a thousand guineas. -Benjamin Franklin

I have a WR2 1.05 SB. I agree that the workmanship is very high. But! I have 3-4 razors that cost almost half the price, but they shave me better than the WR2. There are 7-8 other razors that shave me the same way as the WR2, but they are almost three times cheaper. And all these razors are available for sale ... You don't have to wait almost a year. Or overpay in the secondary market. I personally do not understand such excitement around WR2.
I just put together a good shaving kit, put the right blade in a specific razor and have fun.

I had and sold a WR2 OC 1.15. While it was a very nice razor, I decided to move it while the market would allow it. I shaved yesterday with a '58 Fatboy and got just as good of shave.
Indeed...a razor's a razor. It's the blade that shaves you anyway. Don't miss it at all.
