Houbigant Fougère Royale aftershave, an aromatic fougère launched in 1882 by Paul Parquet.  Top notes are lavender, clary sage and bergamot; middle notes are carnation, orchid, heliotrope, rose and geranium; base notes are tonka bean, musk, vanilla, oakmoss and coumarin.  A complex, deep fougère that opens with lavender, it is described as soft, comfortable, and casual, like "a rainy afternoon in Paris." A favorite in my household.

How would you describe the scent? I'm trying to decide on another PAA order and that is on my short list.
