Warm Face Lathering!

This is my thin-walled stainless bowl floating in the sink of hot water while I take a prep shower. One quarter-teaspoon of soap is already smeared areound inside of bowl. It works for face-lathering too.

The only drawback is that I can't use brushes with larger handles because the bowl would capsize and wash out all my lather. In that case I use a heavy earthenware or stoneware bowl and keep the water level shallower so that the bowl sits on the bottom.

Now I've got a PAA "Intergalactic Indestructible Shatterproof Travel Scuttle".



It's okay, just not as warm as the floating steel bowl method by the time you get to the 3rd & 4th pass. I added a few wraps of electrical tape to the cork because I almost pushed it right inside the first time I used it. 

At least now I can use my longer brushes.

The silicon pad is ingenious! I need to get one too and keep the razor warm as well :-)

Good luck finding one. I found this one at a thrift store, but all the new ones I've seen have deep honeycomb surfaces on both sides. 
Difficult to rinse and dry.

Probably have to resort to Amazon.

I found a silicone workmat (30x40cm) that works like a charm on AMZ (from Weldinger).
